No drums, tap shoes or spoons required - learn to make beats using only your body! If rhythm is your thing and you love to dance, this is for you. It starts with a modern dance warm-up followed by learning body percussion derived from African American Stepping and Irish rhythms. Students will use hands, feet, and body to create sequences of movement and music. It's fun, it's a cappella and beautiful to learn and share. You will also learn excerpts from Dance Theatre of Ireland's new work Every Little Step… the Rhythm of Hope. Taught by DTI Artistic Director Robert Connor. More
