Islands is about the places we come from and the associations and stories that bind us to them. Inspired by the writings of John Donohue on landscape and beauty, the piece incorporates local people into its choreography and its original soundscape, reflecting on each individual's cultural attitudes, thoughts and feelings which make up our unique internal landscapes.
