    Irish Architectural Archive
This year, 2014, is the fortieth anniversary of a seminal event in the founding of the Irish Architectural Archive. In 1974 an exhibition entitled The Architecture of Parnell Square was held in Trinity College. During the exhibition’s run the seeds of an idea to establish a photographic archive of Irish architecture were sown. These seeds germinated two years later with the establishment of the Archive itself in 1976. As the first step in marking the Archive’s 40th anniversary in 2016, we are re-presenting the wonderful black and white photographs of Parnell Square taken by David Davison for the 1974 exhibition. First floor rooms, IAA, 45 Merrion Square, Dublin 2, 10am top 5pm Tuesdays to Fridays. More
