Interlude, our 2011 group exhibition, was about edgelands, liminality, and the borders of the known; Last pushes beyond those boundaries towards a less familiar place where everyday structures have either been eroded or disintegrated. Last might be said to reflect a mood of anxiety, a struggle for survival, and the possibility of transformation. From another perspective, however, it is a simple exhibition of twenty recent works by Irish or Irish-based artists that has no particular meaning. More

Adams are delighted to present the exhibition highlights of our "Sean O'Sullivan RHA" sale at the AVA Gallery. This exhibition features more than 70 pieces from one single owner which have been collected,mainly from the family,over a 50 year period and is the largest single collection of Sean O'Sullivan's work ever to be presented. These works will then be joined by further works by the artist and be sold through auction at Adam's Auctioneers in Dublin on 2nd May 2012. More

Stephen McKenna, one of Ireland's most distinguished painters, has shown at the Douglas Hyde Gallery on several occasions, most notably with Et in Arcadia Ego, his 2003 solo exhibition.

Josef Albers was born and raised a Catholic and at the end of his life, he regularly attended Sunday mass and went to confession. This exhibition explores the influence of this religious upbringing as well as his admiration for the masters of early Christian art and architecture. More

Gallery of Photography is collaborating with THREAD magazine to present its first ever exhibition devoted to fashion photography. The exhibition features exciting work by a new generation of photographers all of whom take a fluid approach to their practice, merging their personal subjective work with a range of other creative art forms.
THREAD is an Irish-produced fashion magazine that connects into the local, harnessing the myriad talents and considerable international experience of Irish creative people. As a way of celebrating the collaborative nature of this free publication, the Gallery of Photography has presented Thread with a white space to showcase these talents. More
