  • Bronze Casting Using Solid Investment Workshop

    30th Mar 2012 (Fri) - 2nd Apr 2012 (Mon) from 10:00 - 17:00

    Leitrim Sculpture Centre
    Participants will make a piece of sculpture working directly with wax, vent and sprew, make an investment mould and cast their own piece on the final day to make a finished bronze.  On this course, you will get to make and pour one, sometimes two, moulds, depending upon their size and complexity. Generally, a beginner will come away with one (or two) bronze(s) (for example a 6" statue or axe head). You may not have time to file and clean two, but this can be done in your own time. Finished bronzes can then be patinated on the Patination Workshop. More
