Deluce's Patent
Deluce's Patent is a new band with members from Cork and Kerry. The four-piece, consisting of Conor O'Sullivan (guitar, banjo and composer), Adrian Spillett (vocals, guitar & bouzouki) Evelyn O'Connell (vocals) and Deirdre Granville (harp, flute & vocals), joined together in November 2010 and have been going from strength to strength ever since. Each member brings a different musical influence to the band and the style blends perfectly to create a sound unique to Deluce's Patent. The style of music could be described as contemporary folk mixed with trad - unusual but a collaboration that works well.

Lau combine stunning musicianship with a ground-breaking yet playful approach to traditional music that transcends the music they hold dear, creating a cutting edge sound which garners praise from far beyond the roots scene. Prepare to be wowed by the wildly inventive Martin Green on accordian keys and effects, Aidan O'Rourke's impossibly beautiful fiddle playing, Kris Drever's virtuoso guitar and honeyed baritone voice, not to mention some excellent on stage banter and chemistry between the band.
