  • The Cáca Milis Cabaret

    21st Jan 2011 (Fri) - 13th Dec 2013 (Fri)

The Cáca Milis Cabaret takes place each last Friday of the month at the Wexford Arts Centre. With the audience cosily ensconced at café tables around the recently refurbished historic theatre, the atmosphere is candle lit, intimate and impromptu. Billing itself as "post-modern vaudeville", its modus operandi emulates the traditional Music Hall format. Helena Mulkerns, Hostess and Coordinator, emcees the evening to the accompaniment of Wexford pianist Cyril Murphy. In between classic cabaret songs, the various performers take to the stage - bringing music, song, poetry, mime, comedy, dance, circus numbers and more to deliver an excellent yet low-budget evening of the arts that blends emerging and established performers.
