There's going to be good ceol agus craic in Cavan for the NYAH Traditional Irish music festival. The NYAH Festival takes place in February & March throughout Co Cavan. It is organized by Martin Donohoe, the wonderful rascal and box player who has done much to put Cavan back on the musical map.
Can you believe that the NYAH Irish music festival is 11 years old this year? After successfully hosting three All Ireland Fleadhanna, County Cavan has established itself as one of the centres of the Irish traditional music scene. It has become renowned for hosting traditional Irish family-friendly concerts, workshops, cross-border, cross-community projects, late sessions, acoustic jams, Sean nós and late night cabarets. More
